Over the last 2 weeks, the GCSE geography pupils have been able to visit the Fylde coast for the first time since the Covid Pandemic. The pupils visited the areas of Fleetwood, Cleveleys, Blackpool and St Annes to collect physical and human data.
The pupils experienced all four seasons in their visits, from warm sunshine on St Annes beach to snow showers on Fleetwood promenade. The trips were an important part of the GCSE syllabus, but it was great to experience real geography in action, especially watching the huge diggers move the rock armour stones onto Cleveleys beach!! Thanks to all the teachers who accompanied the trip.
