Satchel One (SMHW)

A new way to record, track and monitor homework at Bowland High.

We are excited to be launching Satchel One, an online tool to help you keep track of your child’s homework. This system has replaced the use of planners, as our research has shown communication through this system was not always effective and there has been a much more positive response to homework being set on line.

Satchel One will allow you to see the details of the tasks your child has been set, all their deadlines and their submission status. We have decided to use this system to improve the way we communicate with parents and give you greater visibility into the homework we set. Pupils are also able to download the app to keep an overview of their homework.

By logging in to your personal account you will be able to see your child’s to-do List and any homework that is overdue. If you have difficulty downloading the app or using Satchel One, a parent’s guide is available in the link below this summary.

There are many positives to using the Satchel One system:
● Provides 24/7 access
● Enables you to view the quality and quantity of homework
● Translates into over 50 languages
● Apps are available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices
● Ensures you receive automated notifications before homework is due

If you or your child have any questions about the service, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team at Satchel One, who are always happy to help. Just visit Satchel Help Center (satchelone.com) or call 0207 197 9550.
