During February, Year 7 pupils have supported a Clitheroe Town Fair Trade initiative. They participated in a competition to design t- shirts advertising Fair Trade. The t-shirts were displayed as part of an event to raise awareness of the need of fair trade for farmers in lesser developed countries, which was at The Grand in Clitheroe.
Miss Yates took pupils from 7W to support the event and pupils were fortunate enough to be addressed by a farmer from Mali. The Mayor of Clitheroe judged the t-shirt competition and Ebony Alderson won a 3rd place for Bowland.
