Year 9, 10 and 11 spent their Well-being Day completing a variety of activities away from a screen. Some pupils chose to paint and Aggie sent in a photo of her amazing artwork. There was plenty of baking and some pupils sent photos of delicious looking cakes and biscuits. Max cooked a very professional looking meal, including homemade pasta with King Prawns and freshly baked Focaccia. Owain, Toby and Oliver were just a few of the pupils to send in photos of their time out cycling and this is a great shot by Owain from the top of Longridge Fell. A significant number of pupils took the opportunity to spend time with their pets and head out for a walk on such a glorious day. Lily sent us this photo of her dog on a snowy track.
In school, pupils spent time baking cakes and biscuits, building lego and playing some board games, before finishing the day with a walk through the school fields to admire the views. Many pupils also took this opportunity to catch up with work that had been set in previous weeks, to continue working on their controlled assignments or prepare for upcoming assessments.
It is important to take care of our wellbeing everyday, so please take the time to get outdoors, spend time with your family and complete activities away from the screen over the half term break.
