Once again Bowland High has been awarded the honour of Teen Tech Centre of Innovation and Creativity!
A number of pupils took on the challenge of entering the Teen Tech Awards Competition! Their brief was to devise an innovative use of technology. Here are some of the ideas!
A massive thankyou to our Pupil Mentors, Andrew M, Owain IW and Gulliver C who were finalists, in the competition last year as Team Frontier, in two categories Wearable Tech and Digital Skills. They won the gold standard for best teamwork and were happy to support younger pupils and share their experience with them.
It is a fabulous enrichment activity that demonstrates great skills and qualities that would be of interest to employers, colleges and universities.

Two STEM Ambassadors who work at BAE and Daisy Technology, looked at each project and gave valuable advice on moving forward. Each team received detailed feedback for their project as well as a silver or bronze Teen Tech certificate. Well done to everyone who gave up their lunchtimes and time after school to take part!
We are very proud of 2 teams Superscanner and Captiosus Ring have made it through to the National Final at IIET London on Monday 20th June. Standby for more updates……
