Sport Relief

The PE department organised an extraordinary non-uniform day in order to help raise funds for Sports relief. The money raised will contribute to a number of national causes supported by Sport Relief including free school holiday clubs in the UK, support for young women experiencing PTSD following domestic violence, counselling for young men at risk of suicide, as well as international assistance for refugees in Serbia and malaria patients in Malawi.

In addition a number of fundraising activities were organised for the week in order to further promote sport and physical activity amongst our pupils, whilst also raising additional funds for the above causes.

These included:

  • Large screen FIFA football Xbox tournament
  • ‘Beat the Teacher’ – 5 aside football
  • ‘Beat the Teacher’ – badminton and table tennis
  • Multi-activities including football/tennis inflatable dartboard, football target inflatable, sumo wrestling suit competition, large screen FIFA football tournament.

Thank you to all the staff and pupils that supported these fundraising events.
