Once again our Casino Night was a huge success. Over a hundred guests, even more than last year, enjoyed an evening of entertainment commencing with Champagne and Canapes on arrival, a superb vocal performance by Kelsey Gill, Roulette, Poker and Black Jack tables hosted by professional croupiers Casino Royale, Disco and Raffle.
As usual, the evening ended with the traditional Casino Night Chip Auction. Andrea’s skills as an Auctioneer are to be applauded, particularly securing a vast quantity of Chips in return for Stephanie’s singing lessons, and the rather expensive packet of crisps purchased with Andrew Fletcher’s healthy stack of Casino Chips….. I do hope he shared them!!!
A big thank you to the local companies who kindly provided raffle prizes, including James Alpe, Andrew Hale Photography and the Spread Eagle at Sawley, together with all the individuals who also kindly donated raffle prizes.
The evening raised a profit of £763 for the PTFA and we thank all those who bought tickets and generously supported the event. Everyone agreed it was a fun evening and a great way to raise funds to benefit all the children at Bowland.
