Fin W Signs with Blackburn Rovers!

Fin started his football journey with Clitheroe Wolves aged 7.  He was staying with the Yates family whilst we were away on business.  We came back to find him signed up, kitted up and playing in matches!  Born was Fin’s passion for the game!

He left Clitheroe Wolves and moved to Interpro Academy where he has played for the last 5 years, latterly in the JPL (Junior Premier Legaue).  He also played for fun on a Sunday with Barrowford Celtic Orange throughout this time.  Post Covid he was selected by the school to trial for Hyndburn and Ribble Valley team, and earned his place, supporting them to win the Witton Cup last year and the Lancashire cup this year.  His performances for the HRV district team led him to be scouted by Blackburn Rovers.  He started his journey with Blackburn Rovers last September, progressing onto a trial contract and now is signed.

His passion, work ethic, drive and attitude have got him this far!  The Blackburn Rovers team signed him because they liked his athletic ability, skill on and off the ball,  his drive and attitude.
