Massive congratulations to the Year 8 Boys Football Team who, since September were victorious in each of the 6 rounds as below:
Round 1 – 14th September – Bowland High win 10-0 against Brownedge St Mary’s Catholic High School
Round 2 – 11th November – Bowland High win 1-0 against Moorland School
Round 3 – 6th January – Bowland High win 4-2 against Carnforth High School
Round 4 – 18th January – Bowland High win 3-2 against St Bede’s College
Round 5 – 1st February – Bowland High win 5-3 against Highfield Middle School
Round 6 Semi-final – Bowland High win 3-0 against Blacon High School
Although the Year 8 Boys Bowland High Football Team did not secure a win at the final against Royal Russell School, they were a credit to themselves, the school, Mr Gleave and the Bowland PE Department.
We are all immensely proud of their outstanding performance on the field, their determination and team spirit.
