The Year 10 & 11 BTEC Countryside & Environment pupils took part in some tree planning recently in conjunction with the River Ribble Trust and Pendle Hill Partnership. It was held at the Whins Estate in Sabden. Both BTEC groups planted a total of approximately 100 trees each afternoon. The planting was part of a wider tree planting programme along the River Ribble.
Although the ground was very wet everyone worked really hard and had a fabulous time.
